Play Your Station

So Activision is releasing a drum set for their upcoming title “Guitar Hero 4″  The scan can be seen in the newest GI magazine.  Why they are haveing drums in a guitar game,a nd making you buy their drumset to use in it, I have no clue.

Gears of War 2 finally has some gameplay footage up on XBOX Live Marketplace.  It is only 174 megs and is well worth watching.

Now avaialable on the XBOX Live Marketplace (PS3 Netwrok and PC aswell) is the “Race Drive: grid” Demo.  The demo is 795.04 MB, so it’s not really THAT big, but anyways.  Go dwonload it, check it out, and I’ll have a review of the demo up later.

The time trial feature that is also included in the demo is a competition in which you have a chance to win a car and other ace (cool) prizes.  first time I;ve seen this in a demo.

Doom 4 has been announced by id. Software.  It is still unknown as to which platforms the game will appear on, but since they are devloping Rag for the PC, XBOX 360, and PS3, it would be no suprise to see it appear on these consoles.

Also to note, this is the first time id Software is devloping two major titles at once, so we’ll see how that goes.

GRiD now has a release date….Wait for it….Wait for it…June 3rd, 2008 (2 days after my b-day…Codemasters? Hint hint? haha, Just playing)  Anyways, also, this week, there will be a demo for this game on the live marketplace and PlaysStation Network(I’m guesing).  The game will be launchingf for the DS, XBOX 360, PS3, and PC.

Yes..people are saying “Oh, GTAIV will out do CoD4 in online play!” POSSIBLY, yes, for a week or so, because from the stories I have heard..the multi-player is FUN, not really competitive because, I mean, how can it not be fun driving around a city with your friends? I personally don’t think it’ll take the tops spot, but will come close. If it does? Well, I wont be surprised either, haha.

There are two versions. The regular and the Collectors Edition, which I was lucky enough to grab at the midnight release. Below is a video of what can be found in the collectors edition. (I made it by the one, single handedly, with one hand most of the time, so it may not be the best quality…haha.)

No no, its not coming to an end.  Microsoft has just decided to NOT launch any NEW arcade titles this week (on Wendsday) in the midst of the GTA IV launch.  Sigh…looks like all us XBOX gamers will have to play GTA to tide us over til the next arcade game is released…

Mario Kart Wii came out today, April 27,2008, and I am speechless. The game is just full of colors, speed, and new characters. I am officially hooked on the game. Take this as a review about the game, it is amazing and I ive it a 10 out of 10. I feel like this game is the racing halo and it is more addictive than heroine. If you do not have it then go get it. At just $49.99 including a Wii Wheel (additional wheels would be at $9.99) Mario Kart for the Wii gets 2 thumbs and 2 toes up!
