The New “Our Community” Section On Play Your Station.

There are hundreds, maybe thousands of gaming websites whether you are an Xbox gamer or a Play Station gamer, even Nintendo gamer. Whatever you may be you still are a gamer. That is why Play Your Station is here. We are going to cover every and any Site, Blog, Podcast, and Developers to bring you more variety to the table. Our mission is still the same, bringing breaking news and now bringing all of our community together. If you own or know someone that owns a gaming site please go to our “Contact us” page and tell us about it. All Interviews with sites will be under the “Our Community” Tab in the Categories side bar . We hope that we will bring all of our communities together.

Well it is the end of the Year and…

This blog all started on October 11th, 2007, I thought to myself “why am i doing this?” then I realized, one, I love gaming and it’s community and two, because I have met so many friends along the way. This post is for these people. I wish them so much success in the future in whatever they want to do.

Alexis from Gamingbits.com

You were the one who saw me grow the most. You helped me on my writing and would feed me anything in gaming. You were so inviting with your site and the experience writing for you was amazing. I started with all my PS3 Demo reviews then you actually let me go on the front page. All the events we would cover were great and because of you, I wanted to start my own blog. I always loved gaming but you were the one who brought me into the nitty gritty of gaming. I appreciate everything you have done for me. So for that, Thank You.

BS Angel From HawtyMcBloggy.com

You guided me through anything and everything. Your love for the Xbox Community inspires me. You were there since the very beginning. You were my first friend I ever met in the Gaming blog community and your still at the top of my list. Every question I have ever asked you, you have always spoon fed or directed me to the solution. If you didn’t have the answer, you would still give me something to help me with my problem. The “Blog Banter” is a huge success I think and I can’t wait to write more with the blogging group (Who ever wants to join the Blog Banter go to HawtyMcBloggy.com
and you can contact her there). So again, Thank you for all your kind words and hospitality. Thanks

The Crew at Glitch Gear

You guys were my first interview and man, what an interview. It went from all seriousness to just talking about anything that came up. You guys are the coolest guys around and I still think till this day that your shirts are works of beautiful art. Your banner will be on my site until it runs to the ground. I support you guys all the way and when I get enough money I will buy your whole line and if I’m like 50 years old when I finally get the money, I want all the throwbacks too lol. Thanks You Guys. Go under “Categories” and click “Interviews” to see my interview with Glitch Gear.

I would also like to thank all my newest friends, Please visit their blogs and sites aswell:

Go Blu-Ray!

From:HollywoodinHiDef.com: Paramount’s Switch Failed to Turn Market

Even though Paramount is trying to make things HD DVD format exclusive, This Holiday season, Blu-ray disc format seems to be very popular. So popular that it is blowing the HD DVD format out of the water this 2007 Holiday season.

Toshiba’s loss leading $100 HD player may just end up being a bomb.

But oh well, I have my PS3 which plays all my little Blu-rays, what can I say? The quality is great. You go Blu-ray.

New PS2, Thinner? No, New Design? No

ps2redesigned.jpg Live in Japan? November 22nd sees the arrival of a redesigned PS2 (SCPH-90000). While rumored to retail for under US $100, the redesigned PS2 will sell for ¥16,000 (US $140) and comes in Charcoal Black, Ceramic White and Satin Silver. The system has apparently been completely overhauled and features an built-in AC adaptator. It’s internally powered! While the size is the same as the current PS2, the new one weighs slightly less. There’s a special stand peripheral that is going on sale as well for 1,600 ($!4). All this is Japan-Only at the moment, but look forward to the inevitable Western launch. Hopefully at a lower price point!
