The total output power in the US is 115v but in Australia is 240v. You might think that there can be problems with the heating up of the console but don’t worry. The PS3 has been made in such a way that it is enabled to Universal power supply. But just in case if you think if it’s too risky to do something like this without proper equipment then get yourself a voltage converter and a PC cable. Connect the PC cable to the console and the other end should be connected to the voltage converter. Then connect the power cord of your house to the voltage converter, and then it’s all good to play.
